About Our Founder
Nalini Kaushal, Founder & Director of SetuWorks, is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience spanning Learning & Development, Corporate Social Responsibility, and social impact initiatives. She has worked with global and Indian organizations, including UBS, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), TATA AIA, and GEMS Group (UAE), bridging the gap between business and social transformation.
A computer engineer from Pune University and an alumna of SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Nalini is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Practitioner. She consciously transitioned to the social sector, bringing strategic and data-driven approaches to development initiatives.
As India Head of Corporate Social Responsibility & Philanthropy at UBS, she led UBS India’s CSR mandate and grant-making through the UBS Optimus Foundation. At HUL, she played a key role in designing and leading ‘Prabhat,’ the company’s largest community development program, thereby directly impacting 1.7 million lives across 30 locations in South Asia under her leadership.
Her expertise lies in developing and executing large-scale sustainable initiatives, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, brand management, and impact-driven communications. She has successfully led multi-stakeholder collaborations across the public and private sectors, driving systemic change and lasting social impact.
